Stretches: Cat Stretch

spacer

The Cat Stretch gets the fluid in your spine moving so that you have better range of motion and can do everyday things with ease. This is a stretch you should do everyday when you get up to open up your spine for the rest of the day.

  1. Kneel on the ground with your hands in front of you and shoulder width apart.
  2. Pull your belly to the ground and look up to the ceiling. Inhale with this motion.
  3. Exhale as you then arch your back up to the sky as much as you can.  Push with your hands and your knees to get the best stretch.
  4. Repeat. (1 Repetition= 1 Up + 1 Down)
