Upper Body Exercises: Handstand Pushup

Handstand pushups are tremendous exercises! These build tremendous back, arm and shoulder strength. When you can do a few of these you've really come a long way! - Find a wall, tree, anything that you can support yourself against.
- Put your hands on the floor in front of you about shoulder width apart and approximately 1 foot from the wall.
- Kick your legs up, until they are balanced against the wall.
- Bend your arms and lower yourself until your head touches the ground. (Inhale down)
- Push straight up. (Exhale up)
- Repeat. (Chances are if you've never done these before, you will not be able to do any of them! If this is the case, just hold the handstand until you can't anymore. Eventually you'll be able to do a push up or two and see exponential results.)
