Medicine Ball Exercises - Single Leg Pick Up

Single Leg Pickups are great for strength in your legs, your core and your arms.  Do a bunch of these and you will no longer have to worry about losing your balance!  If you loose your balance during this exercise, don't get frustrated… recognize when you loose it and concentrate more on being centered.  You'll get it, we promise!

  1. Start with the ball at your chest your right knee up so that your thigh is parallel with the ground.
  2. Bend at the waist and reach down ACROSS your body with your arm.
  3. Tapping the bal to the ground to the left of your left foot and straighten your right leg behind you.
  4. Come up slowly bring the ball back up to your chest.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Switch legs.
  7. Inhale down, exhale up.
