The squat is the essential lower body exercise.  You do not need heavy WEIGHT to make this effective, contrary to popular belief.   Bodyweight squats will increase circulation and allow you to have increased stamina and energy.

  1. Stand legs shoulder width apart.
  2. Ball starts at your waist and is raised above head when you come up from the squat.
  3. Inhale and squat down, no more than 90-degrees making sure your knees do not go over your feet.
  4. Exhale and come back to start.
  5. Repeat until you can't do any more!
