With all the news about Britney Spears and her breakup still on the newswires... ("Britney Spears" is the #1 search term on the Internet right now!)
It makes me wonder how she's able to handle the stress of being so prominent in the public's eye. Can you imagine being the most watched person on the planet... your name the #1 search term in the WORLD?
WOW!
It also makes me wonder how much weight she'll gain because of it all...
Not only does the average woman add 10 pounds after a break up, but most people tend to gain weight under stress as well.
This could be a serious dilemma for Britney, as well as for you.
Weight gain can swing emotions, ideas, and happiness on a dime. It also can get out of control... as some of you know already.
But I'm not as concerned about Britney Spears as I am about you.
You see, she's got the capability to hire personal trainers 3 hours a day and a personal chef to cook her what she likes and what is healthy.
Many of you don't.
So what happens to you when your life comes along? When you have a break up? When you are stressed?
I bet you gain some weight. It happens to all of us.
And, now, since it's the holidays, there are many times that are more stressful (even though they shouldn't be!) than normal.
Not only do you have your job, but you have family events to go to, there are more kids running around to look after and quiet down, there are more stresses between siblings and parents, there are also parents and family members that aren't around this year because of tragedy and loss.
So what can you and Britney do to make sure you don't spin off in a whirlwind of cheetos and ice cream pints?
You can change your physiology. Many times you can't change what happens to you, but you can change how you REACT to it. You can be OK with a situation.
How do you do that?
You start by smiling. It's that simple.
A smile will start to lighten the slump you're in and put you in a frame of mind that will be able to assess a situation much less emotionally and much more clearly!
Even if it's hard to eek one out, just smile and then take it from there.
I promise you'll be able to handle whatever it is just a little bit better! :-)
Live Awesome!
Kevin
PS. And smile for Britney too, she's got millions of eyes on her and could use your help!
