Mike: I know a local person here, a captain in the police force, who was almost killed by a statin drug. Now, drug companies don't tell you this and doctors don't tell you this, and the FDA isn't telling you this, but statin drugs can kill you and in fact, they cause a condition called rhabdomyolysis which means your muscles become so fatigued that you can't even walk or stand without excruciating pain. Now, an individual taking statin drugs may not experience that, but it may harm them in a way that is not to the threshold where they get those huge symptoms. They are still being harmed at some level by those drugs because they interfere with normal human biochemistry. Now, let's move on to antidepressant drugs. Antidepressant drugs we now know cause an average weight gain of 22 pounds of body fat in the first year of using them. Kevin: An average? Mike: That's the average, yes. Think about this, alright, someone's already depressed and they reach... they go to the doctor and they get prescribed antidepressant drugs, and then they gain 22 pounds in the first year. Do you think they're going to be more depressed or less depressed after that? At the same time, these powerful psychotropic drugs, it turns out that they cause violent thoughts and behavior especially in young males. Remember those school shootings a couple of years ago at the Columbine, Colorado School shooting? Kevin: Sure. Mike: Well, those students who picked up those assault rifles and opened fire on their classmates were on psychotropic drugs prescribed to them, and the same thing has held true across every school shooting that I've monitored in the year since. Every one of them is a child that's on these drugs. That's why these drugs have actually been banned in Europe for being prescribed to children and even in the United States. Here's something that very few people know, even in the United States, every antidepressant drug that is prescribed to a child is being illegally prescribed. The FDA has never given approval for these drugs to be used on children. Kevin: Really? Mike: Really. In every case, these doctors are practicing what's called "off label prescribing," which means the drug wasn't approved for that thing. Now, think about the FDA's claims of what great science they're engaged in, and the defenders of conventional medicine say, "Yes we use the scientific method. Everything is scientific. It's based on the evidence. It's black and white, and yet once a drug is approved by the FDA for any condition, it can be legally prescribed for any other condition. I shouldn't say legally, I should say it's a tolerated practice. Kevin: Really. Mike: In other words, a drug that's approved for Alzheimer's disease, a doctor can take that drug and prescribed it for osteoporosis, even though it has never been tested for osteoporosis. Kevin: Wow! Mike: As you can see Kevin, our whole system of pharmacological medicine is really based on fiction. There is no science behind it. They can prescribe it for anything regardless of whether there's ever been any testing. To read the rest of this interview please visit www.RawSummitArchives.com.
