Carol: Okay? It's very, very challenging. So what do you have? You have resistance, you have conflict, you have basic human emotions and vibrations. What we do with EFT, is target those. Let's say the issue is not anxiety. Let's say it's hurt. Let's say you were really hurt in a past relationship. And it keeps bumping into you when you try to have a new relationship. You can't think that away. It's not working. That's why thousands and thousands and thousands of people, frankly are complaining a little bit about law of attraction and trying to find a way to help it work. So what you do with that hurt, or anxiety, is you reduce it, and neutralize it, and get over it, and resolve it with EFT. And then the law of attraction is working, it's always working, but it's working in the direction you want it to work. Kevin: Okay. Carol: When someone tries not to think of something, they're trying so hard not to feel how poor they really are. Kevin: Yeah. Carol: Guess what? Guess where their focus is? Kevin: Right. Carol: So this is a profoundly excellent match. If you ask me. I've really never seen two tools work so beautifully together hand in hand. Kevin: And when some, when a bill collector comes to the door, or someone is 50 pounds overweight, that's, I mean, physically a bill collector at the door. I mean that's a physical reality, correct? Carol: Yeah. Kevin: If there's a bill collector at the door, I don't know if we'd recommend EFT while he's at the door, to make him go away. Carol: Well, I would recommend EFT for how did you get in that situation? How afraid are you of your finances? Kevin: Yeah. Carol: What are you worried about as far as your confidence in being able to pay the bills? Kevin: Right. Carol: What are the thoughts that keep going around and around that are not useful and not resourceful? Kevin: Right. Carol: You know, and the person who's 50 pounds overweight, you can't get thin when you feel fat. Kevin: Okay. Carol: Because it's about vibration. You can't get wealthy and financially stable when you feel poor. So you've got to use EFT, and other gains, and vibrational switches so that you can feel what you want. Kevin: Okay. So you can use EFT, I hear a lot of people say, 'I feel fat.' Carol: Yes. And they do. And I understand that. Kevin: Uh huh. Carol: But you can't get thin when you feel fat. You have to feel, and imagine, and pretend, and visualize more often than not, 'Hey, I know what it could feel like if I got to my goal weight and fit into that dress! Hey, I know what it would feel like if I had enough money to take my family out to dinner without worrying.' Kevin: Uh huh. Carol: You've got to feel what you want. And just sometimes, because we're human, this is not about blame, everybody. We are so human, we have thoughts, we have feelings, we've been taught certain phrases by our families, we've been taught how to think, and many of the thoughts are not useful, and are very degrading of ourselves or of other people. Kevin: Hmm. Carol: And that's where EFT is so exciting. You can shift your focus with EFT. So if law of attraction is about focus, what you focus on, you get, like attracts like, energy attracts energy, etcetera. If law of attraction is about focus, and you can change your focus by using EFT, that's why it's a such a perfect match. You want to be able to have your focus on the gratitude, and the excitement, and possibility, and optimism, and when you're not there, when your vibration is about pessimism, or pain, then you need to change that. But you first have to acknowledge it. And all of these law of attraction people are saying, 'Oh, no, no. Forget it. Ignore it. Pretend it's not there.' That's not working. Kevin: Right. Carol: If you pretend something isn't there, you're actually working harder and spending a lot of energy on it. Does that make sense? Kevin: Yeah. This will zap it. Carol: Yes. Kevin: Wow. Carol: So EFT zaps it and changes your focus and changes your energy and helps you see what is going well. Even if ten things are going poorly in your life and one thing going well. We want you to focus on possibility, hope, feeling better, just feeling a little bit of relief. Yes, the bill collector came to the door last night, and how are you doing today? How did you treat your daughter today? Yes, the bill collector came to the door last night, and how did you do at work today? Yes, you're overweight, and you're working on it. How do you feel about yourself? Because you've taken the bull by the horns and you're now doing something about it. Yes, the finances aren't working so well. But, what did you do? You gave yourself time and permission today to tap on blocks you might have to achieving success and financial abundance and you got an inspirational idea.
